Sometimes Life Isn’t Easy

Don’t you know sometimes,
When it feels like someone put a hex on you?
Well, I felt like that.
I was blaming myself.
I was cushioning my fall.

Hold my arms back when they beat me,
Leave me in the ditch where they kick me,
Sever my limbs and deceive me.

Sometimes life isn’t easy.
